Our Didactic division has a scientific/technical focus and aims at environmental education and energy- and resource-efficient thinking and acting.

SDG 6: Clean water and sanitation

With the EDS Water Management learning system, we take system interrelationships of large-scale water treatment plants that are difficult to understand and project them into a teaching format. Learners benefit from practical and action-oriented training. Teachers are relieved of the burden of preparing lessons. The water industry benefits from graduates with an innovative understanding of environmental technology.

SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure

Industry 4.0 and digitalization are terms that accompany our daily work. Through our global remote services, we not only save money for our customers, but also protect the environment. Our interdisciplinary engineering and apartment construction team serves customers from production, education and research.

SDG13: Climate protection measures

Our direct contribution: retrofitting of plants, sorting of recyclables, networking of processes to save energy, fleet with fuel-saving vehicles, search for lightweight materials, to name just a few.

SDG14: Life under water

We see this SDG as interconnected with our SDG 6 goals.

SDG17: Partnerships to achieve the goals

We are networked with education and technology experts worldwide through Festo. Our involvement in the Worldskills "Skill 55 Water Technology" brings together young people and experts around the world. Our motivation: to inspire young people to pursue a career in the water industry - true to the motto:
“Water for life, be a Water Technologist”
