Securing skilled labour is only possible through qualification! Getting young people interested in the water industry and then providing them with good qualifications. The initiative of the Worldskills with the Skill 55 Water Technology speaks for this. Bringing the fascination of water into the context of technology for water and wastewater treatment plants has the highest social priority of all. Water technology means making the connection between water and energy, because without energy there is no water and without water there is no energy.
